Please note: All plants pre-ordered online will be available for in-person pickup at our office (3257 West 41st Street Cleveland, OH 44109) the last week in May/first weekend in June. Anise Hyssop has very showy, aromatic flowers and is deer resistant. It self-seeds readily and often blooms the first year. New seedlings are hardy and can be transplanted easily. It's a bee, hummingbird, and butterfly magnet and makes an excellent addition to herb gardens, borders, perennial gardens, and prairies. A very fragrant plant with foliage that has a sweet licorice-mint flavor. Leaves and flowers can be used fresh or dried in salads, teas, and garnishes. Other common names in use: Lavender Hyssop or Blue Giant Hyssop.

Our plants are grown in Rust Belt Rider’s Tilth soil using organic practices, inoculated with beneficial endomycorrhizal fungi and planted in eco-friendly, biodegradable 4” pots.

Your purchase helps support our nonprofit's educational programming. With each native you plant, you help provide a healthy ecosystem that creates important food, shelter, and medicine and improves habitats for Ohio pollinators. Thank you for your support – happy planting!
